Meet the Management Team at Biker Mobile, a community-based MVNO platform designed to connect social groups, influencers, and local affiliates. Our mission is to give back to the community we serve, building loyalty and long-term engagement in an industry often characterized by high churn.

Kim Craven, Founder & CEO

Kim has over 40 years of experience designing, building, and implementing technology solutions, and more than 30 years of success in founding and scaling technology driven businesses. 

Before Biker Mobile, Kim was Director and main shareholder at Canary Care Global, a profitable SaaS health monitoring company, whose platform was adopted by over 100 local councils and NHS trusts. Following a successful sales and due diligence process, Canary Care was acquired by Utilita in 2022. 

Kim also founded and led Lifecycle Software Ltd, a global telecommunications software provider delivering real time billing and customer care solutions to major carriers. With over 60 employees across the UK and France, Lifecycle became a respected leader in its field before being acquired by Volaris Group (now Lumine) in 2020.

Earlier in his career, Kim held senior positions at Digital Equipment Company (HP) and Rank Xerox, where he developed and managed large scale IT outsourcing, systems design, and European operations.

Throughout his career, Kim has demonstrated an ability to combine strategic thinking with operational excellence. His leadership is driven by a passion for technology, innovation, and the empowerment of teams and communities.

Ben Cole, CPO

Ben is a dynamic and accomplished leader in the telecommunications industry, bringing over 25 years of expertise in building strategic partnerships, driving business growth, and delivering innovative solutions.

Throughout his career, Ben has excelled in roles ranging from Chief Product Officer to Senior Management, consistently demonstrating a talent for transforming complex business challenges into successful, operationally supported software solutions. 

His achievements include leading Lifecycle Software to become a strategic partner for Three UK, providing wholesale billing and MVNE services, and leading, defining and evolving the BSS/OSS platform supporting SMARTY Mobile, now supporting over 1.25 million subscribers. 

Ben’s career is marked by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.  His extensive experience spans business analysis, project management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning, including the successful transition of Lifecycle Software’s business model to managed services, achieving 98% recurring revenue coverage. 

Ben’s positive, knowledgeable approach and proven track record make him a respected figure in telecoms, known for his ability to identify opportunities, deliver impactful solutions, and inspire teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Stuart Butterfield, COO

Stuart is a technology leader with over three decades of experience developing and commercialising innovative software and hardware solutions. 

Before Biker Mobile, Stuart was co-founder and Managing Director at Canary Care, where he led the company’s mission to deliver connected care technologies that enable people to live independently for longer. Canary Care was acquired by Utilita Energy in 2022.

Stuart was an investor employee at Epyon B.V. a Dutch EV charging solutions startup. He project managed Epyon’s first charger installations for European customers, and was responsible for all UK activities: sales, marketing, project delivery, partnerships etc. Epyon was acquired by Swiss industrial giant ABB in 2011.

Earlier in his career, Stuart was Senior Director of Product Management at Geotate (a spin-out from NXP/Philips Software), where he was instrumental in introducing GPS technologies into mainstream consumer devices. Geotate was acquired by Swiss GPS experts ublox in 2009.

After earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Stuart began his career at Philips Research, where he managed a number of European research projects, including a collaboration with Vodafone and Nokia, which carried out the world’s first public DVB-H mobile TV trial in Berlin in 2004.
